Big Medvednica Circle Route

Discover the best of Medvednica Nature Park on this scenic circular e-bike route above Zagreb. Starting and finishing at the lower station of the Sljeme Cable Car, the route follows a network of forest roads, gravel tracks and quieter mountain trails, leading riders through some of the most beautiful and less-visited parts of the mountain.

The tour includes panoramic viewpoints, forest clearings, mountain huts, the iconic Sljeme TV Tower and the opportunity to visit the impressive Medvedgrad Fortress. Along the way, riders can also enjoy traditional local food in mountain huts or restaurants, including dishes such as Zagorje turkey with mlinci, štrukli and other regional specialties.

Thanks to the electric mountain bike, the longer climbs become enjoyable rather than exhausting, allowing you to focus on the scenery, local flavours and the overall experience.
